Everything is changing so often I find myself switching a lot. At this exact moment Claude Cowork / Code are my daily drivers - I still main cursor as the IDE environment even when working with claude code desktop and TUI though.
Ollama / llama.cpp for a bunch of little tasks fed through my homelab, actively experimenting with opencode.
I like to think its my can-do attitude. Like, you need something hard done? I probably can-do it. This is really like problem decomposition and the ability to hyperfocus on the research and work necessary to move things across the finish line, but its more fun to say it the way I started.
Tell me the thing is impossible to do. Everyone who has tried it failed. This has been a running problem in the organization for years.
Especially now that AI compresses the amount of effort for work, the part of me that likes solving puzzles needs something meaty to chew on.

Michigan Tech is where I spent my first two years in CS - also spent a bit of time in Business Administration. I started a startup in my dorm freshman year, and by the end 2009 I was leaving school to go work with Tech Startups in Venture Capital.
