Ownership means showing up when things are unclear. I've spent 15 years moving between telco, fintech, and payments, and the pattern is always the same: the hardest problems sit in the gaps where nobody owns the answer yet.
At Vodafone, I took a virtual assistant that was purely a cost-deflection play and rebuilt it into something customers actually wanted to use. That shift only happened because someone had to sit with the ambiguity long enough to ask the right questions. Not "how do we reduce call volume" but "what would make this genuinely useful."
I'm obsessed with teams because outcomes don't come from individuals. They come from people who trust each other enough to think out loud, challenge assumptions, and move together toward something real. Building processes and roadmaps isn't bureaucracy to me—it's how you give a team permission to move fast without losing sight of why they're moving at all.
