• Technical accounting: Analyze and operationalize complex transactions under U.S. GAAP including revenue, cost to fulfill, and commissions
• Policies and standards: Monitor, assess, and implement new accounting pronouncements applicable to the company, and help draft and maintain the accounting policy library
• Partner cross-functionally: Collaborate with Accounting, Finance, and business stakeholders on revenue metrics, flux analysis, forecasts, and projections (e.g., develop the internally developed software policy with Engineering, analyze commission plans with Sales Ops and Strategy)
• Drive process improvement: Identify and implement process improvements that keep pace with our growth and scale with the business
• External audit: Work with external auditors on revenue and technical accounting matters

Ideally you'd have:

• 5+ years of progressive experience in public accounting, or a combination of public accounting and private industry; Big 4 experience preferred
