From 2022 to 2024, I worked as a Research and Development Engineer at Samsung R&D Institute India in Noida. It's the largest R&D center outside South Korea, focused on innovation. During my time there, I led the development of an instruction-based image editing system using LLMs and Stable Diffusion, which reduced inference time by 250ms.
I also developed an NLP proof of concept for real-time English-to-Hindi call translation, achieving 450ms inference latency. I orchestrated ProtoTile for Galaxy Watch 6 Contacts, designing its cloud backup and restore pipelines. Additionally, I optimized a production LLM image editing microservice through request batching and async processing, reducing p99 latency from 1.2s to 480ms.
