Our Vision is Saving More Lives
Autoliv, Inc. is the worldwide leader in automotive safety systems. We develop, manufacture, and market protective systems, such as airbags, seatbelts, and steering wheels—for all major automotive manufacturers in the world, as well as safety solutions for mobility and commercial vehicles. Our products save approximately 40,000 lives and reduce around 600,000 injuries each year.
Our ~64,000 employees in 25 countries are passionate about our vision of Saving More Lives, and quality is at the heart of everything we do. We operate 13 technical centers with 20 test tracks globally. In the world of automotive occupant safety, we were the first to introduce the two- and three-point seatbelt system and airbags for front and side impacts. We were also the first to launch pyrotechnic belt pretensioners and pedestrian protection systems.
