Ned Sherman is a C-suite executive, lawyer, and investor who leads the legal and business affairs of Skybound Entertainment, a multi-platform entertainment company with a robust slate of content, including The Walking Dead and Invincible franchises, across comics, television, film, games, books, digital, audio, and beyond. With 25+ years of experience in the entertainment, games, and digital media industries, he has a proven track record of negotiating and executing complex deals, managing legal issues, and investing in innovative ventures. Prior to joining Skybound, he was a law partner at Manatt, Phelps & Phillips, where he led the Digital & Technology Transactions Unit, represented top-tier clients, and co-managed the Manatt Venture Fund, a corporate venture fund with over 100 portfolio companies. He is the co-founder and chairman of Digital Media Wire, a marketing and event strategy consulting firm that owns and operates media properties and events, including Digital Entertainment World (DEW) and LA Games Conference. He is also an active investor through Goal Venture Partners, with a portfolio of 20 games and digital media company investments. He is passionate about creating and supporting opportunities for talent, entrepreneurs, and creators in the dynamic and evolving media landscape. Ned received an MSc in Innovation & Entrepreneurship from HEC Paris, a JD from the University of Texas School of Law and an AB with honors from Brown University.
