Leading interdisciplinary collaboration in research computing and education.
With over 18 years of experience, I serve as the Founding Director of the Murty Sunak Quantitative and Computing Lab at Claremont McKenna College, where I lead initiatives to support students and faculty on quantitative challenges, encompassing mathematics, computation, statistics, programming, data analysis, and visualization. Concurrently, I oversee the Data Science Capstone Program, facilitating collaborations with businesses, non-profits, and public agencies to provide students with hands-on experience in data science and analytics. My academic expertise lies in high-performance computing, AI, machine learning, and data science, supported by skills in higher education teaching, data science, and business networking. I am also committed to fostering entrepreneurship and innovation, as demonstrated through my leadership roles within the Korean-American Scientists and Engineers Association (KSEA), where I organize programs that promote collaboration among professionals in the tech and startup ecosystem.
