Built kommu from zero into a 4.8-star home-sharing network with 5,600+ members, 1,000+ homes, and 5,000+ nights booked, while hiring and leading engineering and design. Pivoted the product from home swapping to a social marketplace after customer research showed networked trust drove bookings: members who added friends or joined groups were 6.8x more likely to book. Raised $1.3M from Connetic Ventures, ERA, and angels including founders of Airbnb, Couchsurfing, and DoorDash. Launched a B2B offering that built a $750K pipeline and 7 corporate letters of intent within three weeks, then shipped matching, payments, identity verification, payouts, and cancellations through a six-month, 55-release rebuild across iOS, API, and web.
