Pivoted the automated blood collection device after 5 years of stalled development, narrowed scope to must-have requirements, and cut 9 months off the timeline. Coached 8 technical employees into a working product team starting from zero PM experience.

Took high-priority developments from concept through market fit assessment, streamlining surgical workflows across 10+ procedure types, cutting per-procedure costs by about $200, and growing adoption from under 1% to 13% in target procedures within 3 years. Ran 10+ global market research initiatives with 200+ surgeon interviews and observations in 50+ operating rooms, and helped secure one of the first revenue-generating third-party licensing partnerships, reaching 500+ hospital sites within 18 months. Owned long-term portfolio strategy for an accessories business of about $700M annual revenue. Earlier, as a validation engineer, authored 100+ validation and verification studies across 7+ concurrent robotic instrument and software developments, from requirements to FDA-cleared launch.

Project: Interviewed customers and staff and assessed facility infrastructure, financial data and business operations of Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS) not only to increase awareness and visibility of Glover’s Reef Research Station but also to develop a self-sustainable business model to decrease dependency on donor funding. Presented recommendations to WCS Belize directors. Implementation decision pending.
