Senior Product Manager, Growth

Our Story

Since 2023, our mission has been clear: to be the north star of patient equity.

Every day, we strive to bridge the gaps in healthcare access and outcomes to ensure that every patient, regardless of background or circumstance, receives the care they deserve. As a member of our team, you'll be at the forefront of innovation, working alongside passionate individuals who share your dedication to creating best-in-class, patient-centric products in healthcare. Together, we're revolutionizing the way people understand their health and working with the world's top researchers to accelerate innovation.

About Novellia

Novellia is the first and only company that lets anyone in the U.S. gain access to nearly a decade of their health data in under 30 seconds — 100% free. All your health records, across every doctor, in one place, always up to date.

We are the only patient-powered real-world data platform delivering comprehensive, patient-authorized longitudinal health insights to accelerate biopharma innovation. Unlike traditional RWD providers who deliver fragmented institutional data, we empower patients to access 20+ years of their health records, then transform these complete health journeys into fit-for-purpose datasets for evidence generation, regulatory submissions, and market access. We are growing 5x year over year, have raised close to $30M in funding, and are backed by tier-1 investors including Spark Capital, Khosla Ventures, and Bling Capital.

Working with the world's top researchers, we turn health insights into life-changing action for millions of people around the world.

About the role

As a Senior Product Manager, Growth, you’ll own how patients experience Novellia for the first time. You’ll focus on the loops that grow our patient base and deepen engagement: onboarding, referrals, community, and trust.

You’ll join a growing, cross-functional team dedicated to the patient product. You’ll report to the CTO today, with a path to reporting to the Head of Product as the team grows. You’ll work with UX, Engineering, and Commercial partners to turn growth experiments into lasting product wins.

What you’ll do

• Own the patient growth funnel from first visit to connected records to active, returning user, setting targets and driving results.

• Redesign onboarding and record connection flows to cut time to first value and lift activation.

• Build and scale referral and community programs that bring in new patients through trust, including patient advocates and condition-specific communities.

• Partner with Engineering and Design on trust and safety in the product, such as identity verification, abuse prevention, and privacy controls, so growth never comes at the expense of patient trust.

• Run a steady cadence of experiments: form hypotheses, define KPIs with data, set success metrics up front, run experiments and testing hypotheses, ship fast, and decide from the data.

• Improve retention and engagement by turning product analytics, user research, and support signals into prioritized bets.

• Work with commercial stakeholders to align patient growth with customer project needs and the product vision.

• Share results, learnings, and tradeoffs clearly with leadership and cross-functional partners.

What you’ll bring

• 5+ years of product management experience with a track record of growing consumer products, ideally in health-tech.

• Hands-on growth experience across acquisition, activation, or retention, with examples of the metrics you moved and how.

• Deep comfort with product analytics and a track record of building data-driven features and measuring outcomes, in collaboration with a Data team: funnel, cohort, and retention analysis, ability to define success metrics before a feature ships. Experience with Mixpanel or Amplitude; SQL proficiency preferred.

• Experience designing and running experiments (A/B tests, holdouts, staged rollouts) and reading the results with rigor.

• Experience with referral programs, onboarding flows, community building, or lifecycle messaging (email, push, in-app).

• Clear PRDs that design and engineering can build from with minimal back-and-forth, balancing engineering capacity with ambitious goals.

• Independent user research, including interviews, usability tests, and surveys, translated into prioritized decisions without a dedicated researcher.

• Familiarity with web and mobile (iOS and Android) release cycles and platform constraints.

• Passion for changing how patients manage their diagnoses, consume their health data, and take back control of their treatment journeys.

• Excellent collaboration and communication skills with Design, Engineering, and non-technical partners.

• Comfort with ownership and ambiguity in a fast-paced, remote environment.

Bonus Points

• Early-stage startup experience (seed through Series B), where you helped create process.

• Experience with trust and safety, identity verification, or privacy in a consumer or healthcare product.

• Exposure to healthcare interoperability standards or structured health data (FHIR, claims, EHR), and an understanding of why data quality and completeness are hard problems in this space.

Benefits and perks:

• Equity in Novellia

• Medical, dental, and vision coverage

• 401k

• Flexible Time off

• Wellness stipend

• Up to 12 weeks of parental leave

Don’t meet every single requirement? Studies have shown that women and people of color are less likely to apply to jobs unless they meet every single qualification. At Novellia, we are dedicated to building a diverse, inclusive and authentic workplace, so if you’re excited about this role but your past experience doesn’t align perfectly with every qualification in the job description, we encourage you to apply anyways. You may be just the right candidate for this or other roles.
