Senior Platform Engineer, Marketing & Communication

Twin Health

At Twin Health, we empower people to improve and prevent chronic metabolic diseases, like type 2 diabetes and obesity, with a new standard of care. Twin Health is the only company applying AI Digital Twin technology exclusively toward metabolic health.

We start by building a dynamic model of each person’s metabolism — drawing on thousands of data points from CGMs, smartwatches, and meal logs — that maps their personal path to better health. Guided by a dedicated clinical care team, our members have lowered their A1C below the diabetes range, achieved lasting weight loss, and reduced or even eliminated medications, all while living healthier, happier lives.

Working here

Our team at Twin Health is passionate, talented, and united by a shared purpose: to improve the metabolic health and happiness of our members. We believe in empowering every Twin to make a meaningful impact for our members, our clients, and each other, while enjoying a supportive, collaborative work environment.

Twin has been recognized not only for our innovation but also for our culture, including: Innovator of the Year by the Employer Health Innovation Roundtable (EHIR), selected to CB Insights’ Digital Health 150, and named one of Newsweek’s Top Most Loved Workplace® .

With more than $100 million raised in recent funding, including a $53 million Series E round in 2025 led by Maj Invest, and a $50 million investment in 2023 led by Temasek, Twin is scaling rapidly across the U.S. and globally. Backed by leading venture firms like ICONIQ Growth, Sequoia, Sofina, Temasek, and Peak XV, we are building the most impactful digital health company in the world.

Join us as we reinvent the standard of care in metabolic health.

Opportunity

We're seeking a Senior Platform Engineer - MarTech to strengthen the shared marketing and communication platforms that support acquisition, enrollment, and customer engagement. Hands-on expertise with customer engagement and journey orchestration platforms (we use Braze) and composable CDP / reverse-ETL tools (we use Hightouch) is central to this role. You will improve how teams launch campaigns, activate customer data, and operate reliable communication workflows.

You will collaborate closely with Marketing, Enrollment, Acquisition, Product, and Data to turn business needs into reliable platform capabilities. As the team's scope grows, you will also contribute programming skills to landing pages, automation, and additional communication integrations.

Responsibilities

• Own the configuration, day-to-day support, and continuous improvement of Braze, Hightouch, and related MarTech platforms as shared infrastructure across the business.
• Communicate and collaborate closely with Marketing, Enrollment, Acquisition, Product, and Data to understand needs, clarify requirements, align expectations, and provide timely delivery and issue updates.
• Manage shared intake and prioritization: define scope, assess effort and urgency, agree on delivery timelines, and escalate competing priorities to engineering leadership.
• Standardize reusable Braze Canvas architecture, templates, and build processes, with testing and release checks that streamline delivery from request to deployment.
• Maintain reliable integrations across Braze, Hightouch, Snowflake, Salesforce, and mail vendors; ensure accurate customer attributes, events, audience synchronization, and reporting data.
• Implement platform personalization capabilities, including Liquid templates, behavioral triggers, and send-time optimization, in partnership with stakeholder teams.
• Monitor reliability, data integrity, deployment time, and request turnaround; improve dashboards and automated alerts to detect errors and inform capacity planning.
• Troubleshoot platform and delivery issues, coordinate with Braze, Hightouch, and vendors such as RRD Printhouse, and resolve root causes.
• Develop and support landing pages, APIs, webhooks, and automation as needs evolve; extend communication integrations to Twilio, Zoom, Firebase Cloud Messaging, AWS SNS, and email services or mail servers.
• Apply testing, safe deployment, secure access, credential management, consent handling, and data protection practices across platform configuration and code changes.
• Implement and govern website tracking via Google Tag Manager, including server-side tagging, consent-mode integration and conversion APIs, so measurement respects user privacy preferences and healthcare data restrictions.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related STEM field
• 3+ years of relevant experience in MarTech engineering, marketing technology operations, or platform integrations, with ownership of production platforms and stakeholder delivery.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with Marketing, Enrollment, Acquisition, Product, and Data; ability to translate business requests into clear technical requirements and manage expectations.
• Have built and operated multi-step customer journeys in a journey orchestration platform (e.g., Braze, Iterable, Customer.io, SFMC), including segmentation, event-triggered logic and Liquid or similar templating
• Proficiency in SQL and understanding of customer data models, data quality, and synchronization across engagement platforms, data warehouses, and CRM systems.
• Full-stack development experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, backend services, and APIs is preferred.
• Working programming skills in Python/Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, or a comparable language for automation and integrations, with experience troubleshooting REST APIs, webhooks, and authentication.
• This remote opportunity based out of the U.S. Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Salesforce, Snowflake, mail vendor integrations, or communication technologies such as Twilio, Zoom APIs, Firebase Cloud Messaging, AWS SNS, and email delivery infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience implementing and maintaining website tracking through a tag management system (e.g., Google Tag Manager, Adobe Tags), including data layer design, tag and trigger configuration, and integration with a consent management platform.
• Experience with Git, automated testing, CI/CD, cloud deployments, and platform monitoring or analytics dashboards.
• Experience with email deliverability, consent management, or healthcare technology and sensitive customer information.
• Prior experience working on AI-native products or internal developer platforms is a plus.
• Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth startup environments.
