Account Director East

Unleash AI Innovators, Securely

Software is being rewritten in real time. AI agents are starting to write more code than humans do, at a speed no security team has ever had to match, and that single shift is opening up the biggest opportunity our industry has seen in a decade. We're not bracing for it, we're building the company that owns it.

Snyk is building the next generation security platform where security isn't a set of tools people operate. It's a team of security agents working alongside your engineers, finding, fixing, and governing risk at the speed software is now built. These agents work alongside both the company build and the agents they adopt. Security stops being a queue of work waiting for people, and becomes a coordinated workforce companies direct and trust.

Job Summary

As an Account Director at Snyk, you'll own the end-to-end sales and success cycle for prospective and existing Enterprise customers focused on AI Transformation. You'll work directly with senior leaders across Security and Engineering organizations, using your territory knowledge and market connections to grow your account base and help embed security into every part of the AI-native development lifecycle.

About the Team

You'll join a sales team that is resilient, business savvy, and curious. We see the value our product offers and want it to be part of every software development process.

What You’ll Do

• Own the end-to-end sales cycle for large Enterprise customers, including prospecting, selling, and retaining customers.

• Build and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders and C-Level Executives within Security and Engineering organizations.

• Develop complex account plans that incorporate multiple lines of business, channel ecosystems, and executive coverage models to build a dual-speed business of smaller, faster-moving accounts and larger, more complex accounts.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with leadership, customer success, channel partners, marketing, product, and finance to drive deals and ensure customer success.

• Manage renewal and expansion for your customer base, ensuring long-term outcomes and partnership growth.

• Forecast with accuracy and detail for both short and long-term opportunities while proactively mitigating close-lost rates.

What you’ll bring

• Significant Enterprise Sales Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience owning the entire sales cycle for a technical product on Enterprise level accounts (Fortune 1000).

• Proven Track Record: You are self-motivated and hard-working, with a history of exceeding your quota and closing million-dollar+ ARR transactions.

• Domain Expertise: You've excelled at selling into Cybersecurity, DevOps, or DevSecOps groups, or have significant enterprise software sales experience generating and closing large and complex transactions.

• Strategic Collaboration: You leverage your ecosystem internally and externally, understanding that selling is a team sport at Snyk where managing virtual resources is a must-have skill.

• Executive Presence: You practice extreme ownership, are skilled in navigating complex organizations, and can engage confidently with C-Level Executives.

• Consultative Approach: You have strong consultation skills to work with multiple levels within a customer organization to address business challenges.

• It'd be awesome if you also bring fresh ideas and aren't afraid to challenge the status quo, love solving complex problems with a collaborative team, and have a sense of humour. We take our mission seriously, but not ourselves!
