Role description
ParabolaAbout Us
Parabola is a workflow builder that makes it easy to organize and transform messy data from anywhere—even PDFs, emails, and spreadsheets—so that forward-thinking teams can automate the work they thought would always be manual.
Teams at fast-moving companies like Brooklinen, On Running, and Flexport use Parabola to save hundreds of hours and finally take on the projects that used to feel out of reach. Whether it’s reconciling inventory across multiple 3PLs, auditing invoices, or manually exporting the same report every Monday, Parabola gives teams the power to automate it—all without needing engineering support.
Parabola is backed by OpenView Partners, Matrix Partners, Thrive Capital and more.
About the role
The Applied AI team at Parabola is the conduit through which our largest and most strategic accounts pass through on their way to unlocking the maximum value from our product.
As an Automation Engineer on our Growth team, you will be directly responsible for partnering with key accounts post implementation to ensure value realization continues throughout their lifecycle.
Your mission is to drive sustained adoption, expansion of use cases, and measurable business impact across complex organizations. You’ll proactively monitor account usage and engagement signals, identify opportunities to deepen value, and work directly with customers to design and deploy new workflows that solve evolving business challenges.
You’ll serve as a trusted partner to both technical and business stakeholders, ranging from the C-Suite to the analyst, for QBRs, workshops and building sessions.
You will own customer strategy, technical execution, stakeholder alignment, commercial renewals, and long-term success. You’ll make sure that your portfolio of growing customers continue to see Parabola as a core part of their operations.
You’ll lead with data, move fast, and operate comfortably in ambiguity while shaping how we support our most customers. You’ll collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Sales to solve customer problems and help shape what we build next.
About You
You love customers and are naturally curious about how their businesses truly work. You enjoy learning the ins and outs of their organizations, mapping company level goals to functional outcomes, and helping teams leverage automation to accelerate meaningful results.
You’re energized by meeting new teams, uncovering new use cases, learning new systems, and turning ideas into deployed, repeatable solutions. Along the way, you naturally build playbooks and best practices that scale across accounts.
You’re equally comfortable facilitating strategic conversations with senior leaders and getting your hands dirty technically. You can present confidently to executives, lead collaborative workshops, and seamlessly transition into working with APIs, prompting the latest AI models, and bringing Parabola flows to life.
You’re skilled at managing multiple initiatives at once, creating clear project plans, and maintaining momentum in complex customer environments.
Above all, you are a trusted advisor that is thoughtful, confident, and personable. You represent Parabola professionally, advocate for the customers you support, and take ownership of ensuring they continue to realize and expand value with our product.
