• Debug and fix existing billing engine code to resolve identified issues, ensuring minimal disruption to partner invoicing and downstream revenue reporting

• Design and implement new invoicing logic and billing flows to support evolving contract structures, new partner types, or business requirements

• Assist in ad hoc projects and system integrations as an SME for the Partner Revenue Operations team

What you bring to the table:

• 2-3 years of progressive experience in data analytics

• Proficiency in SQL and Python - ability to query and manipulate large datasets efficiently

• Experience building data logic/pipelines — this role includes designing new invoicing flows

• Translating business/contract requirements into technical logic, working iteratively with stakeholders to validate assumptions

• Advanced Excel skills - including pivot tables, advanced formulas, and data analysis

• Strong analytical thinking - ability to identify trends, discrepancies, and insights in financial data

• Solid financial background - knowledge of financial statements, basic accounting principles, and tax implications

• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills - ability to ensure data accuracy and resolve inconsistencies.

• BA/BS in Analytics, Data Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a similar field of study

It would be great if you also had:

• Experience with billing processes and system integrations/implementations; understanding of revenue recognition, invoicing, and reconciliation.

• Familiarity with Zuora, NetSuite, Salesforce, Avalara (or a similar sales tax engine).

• Understanding of subscription & usage based billing, and financial systems.
