Get to Know Us
Horizon3 is a fast-growing cybersecurity company on a mission to help organizations proactively find, fix, and verify exploitable attack vectors before adversaries exploit them. Our flagship platform, NodeZero™, delivers production-safe autonomous pentesting and attacker-centric validation across internal, external, cloud, and hybrid environments.
We are a fusion of former U.S. Special Operations cyber operators, startup engineers, and cybersecurity practitioners who were tired of ineffective tools, alert fatigue, blind spots, and “checkbox security.” We operate with a culture of respect, collaboration, ownership, and results, and we’re looking for sellers who thrive in fast-moving, high-growth environments.
We’re looking for an ambitious Commercial Sales Engineer who is early in their career and excited to learn quickly, work with cutting-edge technology, and make an impact in a customer-facing role. This is a great opportunity to accelerate your career while helping growing organizations modernize their security programs.
Work with Cutting-Edge Technology – Gain hands-on experience with NodeZero, an autonomous pentesting platform changing the cybersecurity landscape.
Learn from Industry Experts – Partner with experienced Account Executives, Sales Engineers, Customer Success leaders, and security professionals who will invest in your growth.
Fast Career Growth – Build the technical, business, and customer-facing skills that can quickly accelerate your Sales Engineering career.
Make Immediate Impact – Help customers solve real security challenges and directly influence revenue growth.
Join a High-Energy Team – Be part of a collaborative, mission-driven company reshaping offensive security.
Partner closely with Account Executives to drive opportunities across small and mid-sized organizations by supporting discovery, demos, and technical evaluations.
Join customer conversations to understand their infrastructure, security maturity, and business priorities.
Show prospects how NodeZero helps identify real attack paths, validate security controls, and reduce risk.
Translate technical capabilities into clear business value for both technical buyers and executive stakeholders.
Develop the confidence to answer customer questions, guide conversations, and help move deals forward.
Work with Sales, Product, Marketing, and Customer Success to improve customer experience and share market feedback.
Learn modern cybersecurity concepts, offensive security methodologies, and consultative selling skills from experienced mentors.
1–4 years of experience in Sales Engineering, Customer Success, Technical Account Management, or another customer-facing technical role
Strong interest in cybersecurity and desire to build a long-term career in the space
Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify technical topics
High curiosity, coachability, and eagerness to learn
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
Based in Chicago or open to relocating there
You become a trusted partner to Account Executives and help win new business
