Solutions Engineer

About Posh

At Posh, we’re revolutionizing the way financial institutions serve their communities.

Through innovative AI solutions, we make customer support more accessible, fast, and enjoyable for both callers and staff members. Our AI assistants span digital (web and mobile) and voice (phone) channels, while our internal-facing solutions directly augment staff members’ ability to serve.

We believe the most successful AI products are built on a symbiotic relationship between humans and AI, with each empowered to put their best foot forward. The bar is low, but the ceiling is high. Come build with us!

About the Role

As a Solutions Engineer at Posh, you’ll be the technical expert on our sales team, helping community banks and credit unions understand how our conversational AI can transform their customer service. You’ll partner closely with Account Executives, Client Expansion Managers, and our product teams to guide clients through the entire evaluation process.

You’ll own the technical relationship from the very first discovery call all the way through to a successful close and implementation handover. Whether you’re navigating complex security reviews, presenting custom live demos, or helping clients understand how Posh fits into their existing systems, you’ll be the trusted consultant who shows them exactly how Posh works and the value we deliver.

This is a customer-facing, pre-sales role, perfect for a solutions or sales engineer who loves pairing technical know-how with relationship building to help win deals.

What You’ll Do

• Lead technical discovery and solution design, partnering with Account Executives from the first call through close and handover to implementation.

• Partner with the Client Expansion Manager to scope and close expansion opportunities where the technical challenge is determining how new products fit into an existing deployment.

• Build and deliver live demonstrations of the Posh platform tailored to each institution's specific use cases, call drivers, and banking stack.

• Own the technical side of vendor evaluations, including RFPs, security questionnaires, vendor due diligence, and third-party risk reviews common in financial services.

• Work alongside Professional Services leadership to scope integrations with telephony, contact center platforms, core banking, digital banking, and authentication systems, while setting realistic delivery expectations.

• Design and run proofs of concept that demonstrate measurable business impact, such as call containment, self-service resolution, and agent efficiency.

• Explain how the Posh platform works to mixed audiences, ranging from executives and contact center leaders to IT and security teams.

• Partner with Product and Implementation teams, carrying prospect requirements back to internal stakeholders and handing off accounts cleanly at close.

What You’ll Bring

• 5+ years of experience in a customer-facing solutions engineering, sales engineering, or solutions architecture role, working directly alongside quota-carrying Account Executives to win complex, high-value deals.

• A background selling to or working with credit unions or banks, along with familiarity with the financial institution technology and vendor ecosystem.

• Real technical depth, not just a high-level understanding, so you can confidently guide customers through Posh’s recommendations and the industry standards we’ve set.

• A solid, hands-on understanding of how APIs, webhooks, and integrations work, so you can confidently talk customers through how Posh connects with their systems and help work through issues when they come up.

• Strong demo and presentation skills, with a knack for tailoring the story to each audience. As the technical expert on the sales team, you can show technical and non-technical teams alike how Posh’s capabilities turn into real business results.

• Operate comfortably in highly regulated spaces, taking ownership of security reviews and compliance-heavy evaluations.

• Approach your work with a growth mindset; you are resourceful, coachable, and highly driven to win.

• Bonus Points:

  • FinTech Ecosystem Knowledge: Familiarity with core banking systems (e.g., Fiserv, Jack Henry, FIS, Corelation) and digital banking platforms (e.g., Q2, Alkami, Banno), and how they fit into a financial institution’s tech stack.

  • Telephony & CCaaS Expertise: Experience scoping or supporting integrations with telephony and contact center platforms, including SIP trunking, call transfer and routing, IVRs, and CCaaS systems (e.g., Genesys, NICE, Five9, Amazon Connect, Cisco).

  • AI Exposure: Experience with conversational AI, voice AI, or LLM-based products.
