Staffing Associate (Contract)

About Invisible

Invisible is an Applied AI research company closing the gap between frontier models and the enterprise. We provide the platform infrastructure that makes AI work in production at scale: unify fragmented data, map complex processes, orchestrate and evaluate agents, and stand up hyper-personalized workflow applications fast for companies like Grubhub, Alliance Global, and Thomson Reuters. Where models fall short, we build RL environments and data to fix them. The result: a virtuous cycle between enterprise deployment and model training.

Recognized as Best Predictive Analytics Platform of the Year at the 2026 AI Breakthrough Awards, Invisible makes AI work.

About The Role

The Staffing Associate at Invisible Technologies gets qualified experts onto client projects and billing fast. Our Staff Aug team places niche specialists across a wide range of industries and disciplines, and the profile can be anything a client needs that week. Working with the Senior Manager, Strategic Staffing, you'll turn client demand into staffed, productive teams: sourcing and vetting contractors, matching them to the right engagement, and moving them through onboarding to their first billed client hour. The work is more closely aligned to a talent marketplace and gig recruiting than to traditional headhunting, with very high volumes, hard-to-find profiles and quick turnarounds.

This is a 6-month, 40-hour-per-week contract with potential to extend or convert. The Staff Aug function launched recently and is growing quickly, so you'll help shape how the team works as well as staff its projects. It suits a fast, tech-forward staffing professional who has run high-volume, niche staffing in a marketplace-style model, measures success in fill rates and billed hours, and thrives on urgency.

What You’ll Do

• Staff client projects end to end, turning incoming client demand into qualified contractors who are onboarded and billing hours.
• Partner with delivery and operations leads to understand each project's skill, volume and timeline needs, then build a staffing plan to meet them.
• Source high volumes of contractors and subject-matter experts through LinkedIn Recruiter, professional groups, referrals, talent communities, existing talent pools and creative channels for hard-to-find profiles.
• Screen and vet candidates quickly against project requirements, using AI tools, automated screening and skills assessments where they suit the candidate pool.
• Match and assign contractors to the right engagements, balancing skills, availability and client priorities.
• Move contractors from offer through contracting, onboarding and training to their first billed hour, tracking each one's progress and following up quickly with anyone who stalls.
• Re-prioritize daily as urgent client needs open, working alongside the Senior Manager, Strategic Staffing.
• Help choose and roll out new sourcing, screening and tracking tools, including AI interviews, as the team builds out its tooling.
• Keep the staffing trackers accurate and report weekly on fill rate, time-to-staff, time-to-first-billed-hour and utilization.

What We Need

• 5+ years of recruiting or staffing experience, including high-volume, fast-turnaround staffing of niche profiles, ideally in a talent marketplace or AI data environment.
• Experience sourcing and placing niche talent from expert marketplace.
• Proven success in high-volume contract or contingent staffing, supporting a very high number of open reqs at once and filling dozens to hundreds of seats per project while keeping quality high.
• A strong sense of urgency: you're energized by tight deadlines and can get qualified contractors from first contact to working in days.
• A tech-enabled approach: you use AI in your everyday work, bring your own ideas for the staffing tech stack, and want to implement new tools that make the team faster. Experience with our specific tools isn't required.
• Advanced sourcing skills, including Boolean search, LinkedIn Recruiter and creative channels for niche or hard-to-find skills.
• Comfort staffing a constantly changing mix of profiles across industries and disciplines, based on client demand.
• Experience managing contractor onboarding, including contracts, compliance and readiness, in partnership with operations teams.
• Comfort working directly with delivery teams and client stakeholders, and pushing back when needed to keep staffing on track.
• Sound judgment with confidential candidate, rate and client information.
• Staffing agency experience is a plus, especially alongside a high-volume marketplace background.

What’s In It For You

Invisible is committed to fair and competitive pay for our contractors, ensuring that rates reflect both market conditions and the value each contractor brings. Our contractor rate structure accounts for regional differences in cost of living.

As a contractor, you will not be eligible for Invisible’s employee benefits, bonus, or equity programs. Final rates are determined by a combination of factors, including location, job-related experience, skills, knowledge, and overall market conditions. Additional details on rate, contract duration, and terms will be discussed during the hiring process.

Bonus and equity is included in all full-time, non commission offers. Final compensation is determined by a combination of factors, including location, job-related experience, skills, knowledge, internal pay equity, and overall market conditions. Because of this, every offer is unique. Additional details on total compensation and benefits will be discussed during the hiring process.

You can find more information about our geographic pay tiers here. During the interview process, your Invisible Talent Acquisition Partner will confirm which tier applies to your location. For candidates outside the U.S., compensation is adjusted to reflect local market conditions and cost of living.
