Senior Sales Manager – Team Lead Track – California

Chowbus is a leading Asian restaurant technology SaaS platform, with deep roots in the North American market for years. Currently, we stand as a pioneering enterprise in the North American Asian Restaurant SaaS sector. Driven by precise market positioning and efficient product services, our business has achieved doubled growth annually, covering over 30 core states and 100 key cities across the U.S., and partnering with more than 10,000 Asian restaurants. We build tech ecosystems that help restaurants grow, serve with heart, and uplift their communities. Our vision is to create a world where culturally rooted food entrepreneurs thrive everywhere.

This role is for a top seller who is ready to lead. You'll start by doing what you do best, winning restaurants across the full sales cycle, and grow into leading the city's sales team: hiring the right people, coaching them to win, and building a team that sets the pace for the market. You keep your own quota the whole way, so you earn on both your deals and your team's success.

What You'll Focus On

• Sell full-cycle in your own territory, starting with cold calls and walk-ins
• Run demos, close deals and hand signed restaurants to our technicians for installation
• Own your accounts after launch and grow them through add-ons and referrals
• Map the city and build relationships with local partners and associations
• After your first 6 months, help hire, onboard and coach new Sales Managers, and lead the team's daily activity and pipeline

What You Bring

• 3+ years of quota-carrying, full-cycle B2B or outside sales, with restaurant POS or payments experience (Toast, Square, Clover, SpotOn, ISO/merchant services) strongly preferred
• Experience leading, mentoring or onboarding salespeople: a team lead, sales manager or senior rep who trained others
• Consistent quota attainment you can show with numbers
• Comfortable building a market from zero: cold calling, walking into restaurants, setting up partnerships, figuring things out without a playbook handed to you
• Strong spoken and written English; fluency in Vietnamese, Korean, Japanese, Thai or an Indian language (such as Hindi, Punjabi, Gujarati or Tamil) is strongly preferred, and any other second language is a plus
• Lives in or near California; valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

What We Offer

• A fair compensation package
• Medical, dental, and vision insurance
• 401(k)
• 100% employer-paid Short-Term Disability (STD)
• 100% employer-paid Life Insurance and option for additional employee-paid Life Insurance
• 100% employer-paid Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) Insurance and option for additional employee-paid AD&D Insurance
• Company holidays
• Birthday off
• Paid Parental Leave
• Flexible Paid Time Off (PTO)
• Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
• Fuel reimbursement

Target first-year earnings (OTE) for this role are $130,000 – $180,000, made up of a base salary of $70000- $80000, plus uncapped commission and team incentives. Base salary depends on experience; commission depends on results, and top performers earn above the target range.
