THE OPPORTUNITY

We are hiring an SMB Inside Sales Executive within our Revenue organization in New York City. This is a Hybrid – New York position, and the team reports to the office 1-2 days per week.

We’re expanding our U.S. presence and looking for a driven, resourceful, and high-performing SMB Inside Sales Executive to join our Client Sales team in New York. This is a full-cycle, quota-carrying role where you will demonstrate that you have mastered the foundational mechanics of the SMB sales motion. You’ll own new business acquisition specifically across the Small and Medium Business (SMB) segment, acting autonomously on day-to-day operations while strategically engaging your manager for higher-level challenges.

YOUR IMPACT

• Own the full sales cycle: Manage deals end-to-end—from high-volume outbound prospecting and discovery through demo, negotiation, close, and post-sale client implementation. Run your territory independently and drive the closing of complex deals while balancing relentless follow-ups.
• Build and convert pipeline: Proactively source and develop new opportunities through outbound (calls, email, social) and inbound channels. Proactively identify gaps in your territory or pipeline deals, independently providing a clear solution and execution plan to avoid missing quota.
• Engage SMB stakeholders: Build relationships and navigate sales cycles with key decision-makers, typically within HR and leadership teams.
• Deliver value-driven selling: Deeply understand customer pain points. Maintain a deep understanding of product functionalities and workloads, translating them into advanced customer solutions and cross-sell opportunities.
• Execute with consistency: Consistently meet and exceed individual, segment-adjusted quarterly revenue quotas. Perform at a high level across team sales metrics vs. peers and regional benchmarks. Lead by example with high proficiency in pipeline management, accurate forecasting, and strict adherence to the sales process.
• Collaborate cross-functionally: Partner with Marketing and Sales Development to ensure a seamless handoff and customer journey.
• Live the mission: Inspire and empower others by genuinely caring for your own wellbeing and your colleagues. Bring wellbeing to the forefront of work, and create a supportive environment where everyone feels comfortable taking care of themselves, taking time off, and finding work-life wellness.

WHO YOU ARE

• Proven Sales Performer: Brings 3+ years in B2B sales, or a highly transferable client-facing/leadership background (Client Success, Account Management) with a demonstrable track record of high achievement in fast-paced SaaS, HR Tech, or tech-enabled environments.
• Proactive Prospector: Energized by outbound outreach and comfortable putting in the daily work to build pipeline and drive territory growth. Resilient and hungry in a fast-paced, high-velocity environment.
• Autonomous Operator: Takes full ownership of activity levels, managing daily execution independently while identifying pipeline risks before they impact performance.
• Strategic Partner: Leverages leadership primarily for high-level strategy, complex deal positioning, and long-term career growth rather than day-to-day oversight.
• Effective Communicator: Communicates with empathy and high emotional intelligence, with polished written and verbal communication. Runs impactful discovery calls, uncovers key business needs, aligns solutions to client outcomes, and effectively positions against competitors.
• Tech-Enabled Professional: Fluent with Salesforce and sales engagement tools (e.g., Outreach, Salesloft), maintaining strong pipeline hygiene.
• Ownership Mindset: Leaves ego at the door and takes true responsibility for both wins and losses. Owns mistakes without making excuses, actively absorbs feedback, and approaches every challenge with a highly coachable, growth-oriented attitude.
• Driven & Collaborative: Combines a competitive spirit with a team-first mindset, remaining highly coachable, adaptable, and passionate about Wellhub’s mission to bring wellbeing to the workplace.

We welcome your application and will be delighted to explore if you could be a great fit for our team. For this specific role, please note that B2B sales experience or highly transferable client-facing skills, along with strong communication skills, are required.
