Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Product Management to lead our product vision, drive innovation, and oversee the development of cutting-edge solutions across our technology ecosystem. Duties
- Develop and communicate comprehensive product strategies aligned with organizational goals, leveraging market insights and customer feedback.
- Lead cross-functional teams comprising engineering, design, marketing, and sales to execute product development lifecycle from concept to launch.
- Manage the entire SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), ensuring adherence to Agile practices such as Scrum and SAFe frameworks for efficient delivery.
- Collaborate with engineering teams on system architecture, APIs, databases, and infrastructure to ensure scalable and reliable solutions.
- Oversee requirements gathering, wireframing (using tools like Balsamiq), and requirements design to translate business needs into technical specifications.
- Utilize project management software such as Jira, VersionOne, TFS (Team Foundation Server), and Microsoft Project for planning, tracking progress, and reporting.
- Drive data analytics initiatives using tools like Looker, SQL, Excel, and Power BI to inform product decisions and optimize user experiences.
- Coordinate stakeholder engagement across departments to align priorities, manage expectations, and facilitate effective communication.
- Lead user acceptance testing (UAT), develop test cases, and ensure quality assurance before deployment.
- Foster an environment of agile software development by promoting Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
- Maintain IT governance standards while managing IT infrastructure components relevant to product deployment and operation.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in product management within a technology-driven environment with a focus on software development projects.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies such as Scrum and SAFe; experience with Agile planning tools like Jira or VersionOne is essential.
- Extensive knowledge of SDLC processes including Waterfall approaches when applicable; familiarity with project management methodologies is required.
- Technical expertise in AWS cloud services, APIs integration, databases (SQL), HTML, UML modeling, Java programming language, and mobile applications development.
- Demonstrated ability in stakeholder coordination across diverse teams; excellent communication skills are vital for effective cross-functional collaboration.
- Experience managing technical product teams involved in system development products related to IoT (Internet of Things) or other emerging technologies.
- Strong analysis skills with the ability to gather requirements accurately and translate them into actionable plans using wireframing tools like Balsamiq or UML diagrams.
- Familiarity with project management software such as TFS or Microsoft Project; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including PowerPoint and Excel is expected.
- Knowledge of IT governance principles alongside experience in data analytics platforms like Looker or Power BI for strategic insights.

Pay: $145,300.17 - $174,985.16 per year
