Senior Program Manager, Marketing Operations

Our Mission

You call. You wait. You call again. In every other part of your life, you book in seconds. In healthcare, you’re blocked.

We’re here to give power to the patient.

For nearly 20 years, we’ve built the leading healthcare marketplace - helping tens of millions of people find and book the care they need. Now, we’re going further: building our infrastructure beyond Zocdoc’s marketplace to power access to care wherever patients search, from provider websites and insurance directories to search engines, AI platforms, and more.

Healthcare still lacks something every other major consumer industry takes for granted: a seamless way to go from seeking to getting. We don’t want to own the front door to care; there isn't one. We want to make sure all of those doors open when patients are knocking.

Fixing healthcare starts with fixing access to it. And we're still just getting started.

Your Impact on our Mission

As Senior Program Manager, Marketing Operations, you’ll build and run the operating system that enables Marketing to focus on the most important work, make decisions quickly, and execute effectively across teams.

You’ll create visibility across Marketing’s material commitments, integrated campaigns, dependencies, and capacity tradeoffs. You’ll facilitate the planning and prioritization rhythms that help teams align on what matters most, who owns the work, what decisions are needed, and where tradeoffs must be made.

This is a role for a highly organized, strategic, and pragmatic operator who understands how marketing works. You’ll work across all Marketing teams and many cross-functional partners throughout the Zocdoc organization. You’ll bring structure to complex work without adding unnecessary process, and help teams move from discussion to clear decisions and action. You’ll also help Marketing improve how work gets done through better processes, technology, and thoughtful applications of AI where they can reduce manual effort, improve decision-making, or increase team effectiveness.

You’ll enjoy this role if you are...

• Deeply interested in how marketing teams plan, execute, measure, and improve their work.
• Energized by bringing clarity and momentum to complex, cross-functional work.
• A systems thinker who can connect strategy, priorities, dependencies, decisions, and execution.
• Comfortable operating in ambiguity and creating practical structure where none exists.
• Skilled at facilitating alignment among stakeholders with different goals, incentives, and perspectives.
• A clear and concise communicator who can make complicated issues easy to understand and is comfortable surfacing risks, conflicts, and tradeoffs with senior leaders.
• Pragmatic about process, comfortable challenging assumptions, and focused on helping teams get better work done.
• Someone who understands the realities of marketing work and can connect strategic priorities to the details of campaigns, channels, audiences, creative, content, and measurement.

Your day-to-day is...

• Leading Marketing’s annual, quarterly, and cross-functional planning and portfolio management rhythms, while maintaining visibility into material commitments, major initiatives, dependencies, and tradeoffs.
• Managing the integrated Marketing calendar across campaigns, launches, events, content, and other important milestones.
• Facilitating intake and prioritization for new cross-functional requests, helping teams decide what to commit, sequence, experiment, defer, or decline.
• Preparing and facilitating decision forums, ensuring that decisions, owners, next steps, and tradeoffs are clear.
• Identifying risks, blockers, capacity conflicts, and dependency issues before they create delays, and partnering with Marketing leaders to make clear resource allocation and sequencing decisions.
• Establishing lightweight standards, templates, and operating practices that improve clarity, follow-through, and decision speed without centralizing every decision.
• Connecting department-level priorities to team roadmaps and execution backlogs.
• Partnering with Marketing teams to identify where better processes, technology, and practical AI applications can improve planning, execution, measurement, and team effectiveness—and helping turn the most useful ideas into repeatable ways of working.
• Tracking whether the operating model is improving priority clarity, decision speed, dependency management, and delivery, and communicating progress and areas requiring leadership attention in a clear and actionable way.

You’ll be successful in this role if you have...

• 7-10 years of experience in Marketing, Marketing Operations, Marketing Strategy, Go-to-Market Operations, or a related marketing function.
• A strong understanding of how marketing teams plan, launch, measure, and optimize campaigns across channels, audiences, creative, content, and lifecycle programs.
• Proven experience leading complex, cross-functional programs, including managing timelines, risks, dependencies, competing priorities, and delivery in a fast-moving organization.
• Experience building or improving planning, prioritization, portfolio management, or operating processes.
• Sound judgment about when to create structure, when to simplify, and when to let teams work independently.
• A track record of driving progress without relying on formal authority.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience working with senior stakeholders.
• The ability to synthesize information from multiple teams and turn it into clear decisions and actions.
• Comfort working across business, creative, technical, analytical, and operational teams.
• A bias toward action, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Bonus if you have...

• Experience working in a marketplace, healthcare, technology, or other complex multi-sided business.
• Experience supporting AI adoption, workflow automation, or change management.
• Experience working with marketing technology, planning, workflow, or campaign-management tools.
