About Harness
Harness uses AI to help mission-driven companies raise more, faster, to support the causes they care about.
Nonprofits run on donations, but are stuck in spreadsheets and legacy software. Harness has spent the last 5 years building a proprietary data asset of fundraising data across 100s of nonprofits. Today we’re proud to launch Harness Advisor, an AI platform that uses agents to plan and execute fundraising campaigns in a few clicks.
The role
As the founding AE on Harness Advisor, you’ll be at the center of the nonprofit sector’s AI transformation. You’ll have access to a wealth of warm opportunities and best-in-class sales training to learn and sell cutting-edge AI tools.
- Full cycle sales: hunt and close deals with guidance, but plenty of autonomy
- New logos and upgrades: prioritize the areas with the biggest growth potential
- The playbook: work with experienced leadership to build talk tracks, sequences and objection handling you can take with you anywhere you go
- Pipeline: best-in-class sales stack on Clay, Outreach and more
- The voice of the customer: bring insights back that drive our product roadmap
You'll do well here if you
- Have carried a quota for 1 to 2+ years and overachieved
- Have sold high velocity deals
- Are comfortable with the modern sales stack (AI, enrichment, etc)
- Write and speak clearly and warmly, to executive directors and to boards
- Ask for feedback and use it
- Stay curious about how organizations work
- Like high upside opportunities
Bonus points for:
- Nonprofit software or fundraising experience,
- SMB CRM sales experience
- Tech BDR experience, but you want to sell
- Sales experience in non-software companies, but you want to get into tech
If you don’t have exactly the right resume but feel you are qualified, apply anyway. We care more about your approach and your passion than what companies you worked at.
Compensation
- $140K on-target earnings: base salary and commission
- Accelerators: over-performance is rewarded with uncapped upside
- Ramp: guaranteed commission in your first three months
- Growth opportunities: to Senior AE or team lead as we scale
