will.i.am is a creative artist, tech entrepreneur, and Founder & CEO of FYI, a Web 3.0 AI messenger. He has won nine Grammy Awards, a CLIO, an Emmy, the James C. Morgan Global Humanitarian Award, a TIME 100 Impact Award, and the World Economic Forum’s Crystal Award. In 2024, he joined an elite group of artists who have performed at two Super Bowl Halftime Shows (2011, 2024). Beyond music, will.i.am is a futurist and innovation advisor, investing in industries spanning AI, consumer tech, fashion, food & beverage, and telecom. He was an early stakeholder in Beats Electronics, playing a key role in transforming Beats by Dre™ into a global brand before its $3B acquisition by Apple in 2014. He has collaborated with leading organizations like Apple, Coca-Cola, Deutsche Telekom, Intel, Microsoft, Mercedes-AMG, and Salesforce, advising on future technologies and cultural trends. In 2023, he redefined how music intersects with sports through a groundbreaking partnership with Formula 1, serving as its first Artist in Residence and releasing F1-inspired tracks, “THE FORMULA” and “LET’S GO.” A passionate philanthropist, will.i.am is dedicated to STEAM education for underserved youth. His i.am Angel Foundation supports over 13,000 students in Los Angeles through after-school tutoring, college scholarships, STEM-focused high schools, and robotics programs. He serves on the boards of College Track, FIRST Global, and the Smithsonian Science Education Center’s Ad Hoc Committee for Innovation. A lifelong learner, he completed Harvard Business School’s Owner/President Management Program in 2024.
