Albert Cheng is the VP, Head of Prime Video U.S., overseeing all aspects of the business, including SVOD, TVOD, Channels, and AVOD. He drives revenue growth, programming strategy, marketing, and brand development, aiming to make Prime Video a one-stop entertainment destination with content from Amazon MGM Studios, third-party channels, and rentals or purchases. Joining Amazon in 2015 as COO of Amazon Studios, Cheng helped scale operations and co-led TV content initiatives. Previously, he spent 15 years at Disney, where, as EVP of Digital Media and Chief Product Officer for Disney/ABC Television Group, he spearheaded groundbreaking digital innovations, including the first streaming of broadcast shows online and on iPads, earning four Emmy Awards. Cheng also held leadership roles at Fox and BMI and began his career as a strategy consultant at BCG. He holds a bachelor’s from MIT and an MBA from Harvard Business School, combining vision and expertise to shape the future of entertainment.
