YouTube is the best resource for learning about personal finance, offering a vast library of content that helps reinforce key concepts.
Videos. Like, I don't know, man. You they are pretty dangerous. Like, you you could kinda know a thing or two. And at the end of the day, all personal finances is spend less than you earn and invest the difference. And so that is the equip all these videos do is just help hammer that formula in your head in a different way so it lands better, but really that's all it is. But there is a tremendous library on YouTube right now for free that you could go through. You could spend an afternoon and pretty much know everything there is to know about anything that I could ever tell you. So YouTube is the resource. I mean, I obviously am very heavily on TikTok and Instagram, but their searchability just isn't as great. TikTok is okay. You can definitely check out TikTok, but I think in terms of, like, speed and, like, how fast you wanna and and how clean the videos cert certainly tend to be on YouTube, search results, things like that. The the creme de la creme is just at the top. So I think you the best resource you could do. And then then you can go into the forms, and then you can go into the academic literature, and then you can go into all of those, like, hard resources if you really like to. But for most people, I think, just go to YouTube, search it. There's, like, so much now. Like, they before, maybe when I started, not as much. Definitely is now. Yeah. I think I really like, this one guy, Financial Taurus. I think he's really great on YouTube. I think, Ben Felix is wonderful. He's a portfolio manager based out of Ottawa, I believe. But, I don't know him personally, but he's he's just awesome. I love his stuff. Really, simple stuff. The plain bagel's really great. He, again, you know, adviser doesn't sell courses or anything like that. He's just a totally legit guy and just gives it to you. That's literally why he's called the plain bagel. And and, you know, Graham, Stefan, and and Andre, Jake, and some of those other guys are great. They're just more like edutainment. Like, the a lot of their stuff is more like market updates, and I feel like a lot of that's a lot of that's noise. I would say those those prior creators that I was talking about, like, really, it's just like the hard evergreen stuff. And then there's obviously there's a ton of miscellaneous creators that, create topics like this. So just you'll find a mishmash, but, obviously, try to go across different creators. And and you'll find pretty quickly, like, who's legit and who's not, and you'll be good. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
Accountability is key; it helps me improve regardless of algorithm changes.
Mhmm. Mhmm. Yeah. I think accountability is a great response to this question because it no matter what updates to your point come through, it's kinda evergreen in the sense that it will always make sure you improve throughout time. I know you previously, you had done some coaching with some creators who wanted to start creating within their niche. Is that something you still do today? Yeah. Mhmm. Yeah.
