To become financially literate, focus on long-term investments like 401(k)s or IRAs, and prioritize growing your income through your career or business.
Like, risk tolerant in the sense of, like, is there a less risky but more rewarding sort of path? Is that sort of what the question's asking? Yeah. Yeah. So it's certainly, like, yeah, like, I and I'm sure this person knows, like, more risk, more return within within reason. Right? Sometimes you could take on unnecessary risk and for how much returns, so you maybe don't wanna do that. But gambling is a good example of that. Some some I would say in terms of building wealth long term, long term investments, tax deferred investment vehicles like the four zero one k Roth IRA or if you're in Canada, the RSP or TFSA are awesome, and they're great, and they they're good for their purpose. I think if you want to, like, get rich or build wealth quickly, it's gonna come from growing your income and and and growing that whether it's through your career or whether that's through starting a business and earning through that. That is how you're actually going to become, like, quote, unquote, rich or really wealthy is is is significantly growing your income. Because for the ten to twenty years of your career, if you're thinking about it and you're steadily investing, The returns matter, but they don't really matter that much compared to how much you're stocking away. Right? So you wanna make sure you're getting a decent return and and maybe an average market return. But the real lever is how much you're just pounding in the markets, how much you're pounding in the real estate, how much you're pounding into the stock market, how much you're pounding into whatever investments that are giving you that sort of steady return. And that's actually what's gonna drive the results because if I have five k and I double it, I have 10. But if I get a 15 raise, I beat the guy before I even before he's even started. And you tell me what the reliable, a 100% investment because I've never come across it. Right? So for me, I'm like, yo. It actually makes way more sense to just focus on your income, and whether that's through starting a venture, whether it's through, you know, growing your picking a career and just accelerating as fast as you can and just pounding money away. That's actually how you're gonna build serious wealth quickly. It's not necessarily from the investment vehicle itself or the investment itself, certainly in in your twenty years, in in my opinion.
