Manager, Strategy & Revenue Operations

Chowbus is a leading Asian restaurant technology SaaS platform, with deep roots in the North American market for years. Currently, we stand as a pioneering enterprise in the North American Asian Restaurant SaaS sector. Driven by precise market positioning and efficient product services, our business has achieved doubled growth annually, covering over 30 core states and 100 key cities across the U.S., and partnering with more than 10,000 Asian restaurants. We build tech ecosystems that help restaurants grow, serve with heart, and uplift their communities. Our vision is to create a world where culturally rooted food entrepreneurs thrive everywhere.

We build technology solutions across POS, AI, and digital tools that help restaurant operators improve efficiency, reduce operating costs, and grow their businesses. As our sales organization grows, we are looking for a Manager of Strategy & Revenue Operations to work directly with our VP of Sales.

How This Role Is Different

This is not a strategy leadership role. You won't be expected to set the company's sales strategy or own pricing decisions. Instead, you'll be the person who makes the VP of Sales more effective: pulling the data, preparing the meetings, tracking the follow-ups, running the analysis behind the decisions, and keeping the sales operations engine running. It's an execution-focused role with direct exposure to how sales leadership thinks and operates, and a strong path to grow into strategy or revenue operations leadership over time.

What You'll Focus On

Sales Data & Reporting

• Build and maintain weekly and monthly reports on pipeline, bookings, forecast and rep performance.
• Keep CRM data clean and accurate; flag gaps and follow up with sales teams to fix them.
• Run ad-hoc analysis quickly when the VP needs an answer.

Meetings & Operating Cadence

• Prepare agendas, materials and decks for weekly sales meetings, pipeline reviews, QBRs and leadership meetings.
• Take notes, track action items and follow up until they're done.

Project & Analysis Support

• Support the VP on territory planning, quota setting, pricing analysis and competitor research.
• Gather data, build models and turn findings into clear, concise summaries.

Sales Operations Support

• Review and process deal paperwork, including quotes, discount approvals, contracts and order forms, and make sure they follow company policy.
• Calculate and reconcile monthly sales commissions with Finance, and answer reps' questions.
• Manage CRM and sales tools, including user setup, permissions, fields and workflows.
• Coordinate the handoff from Sales to Onboarding/Implementation so new merchants go live smoothly.
• Support new sales rep onboarding with account setup, training materials and process guides.
• Write and update sales policies, processes and SOPs, and make sure the team knows about changes.

Executive Support & Coordination

• Serve as the VP of Sales' go-to person for whatever needs to get done, from preparing a board slide to chasing down a number.
• Coordinate with Finance, Marketing, Customer Success, Product and our China-based teams to keep work moving.
• Travel regularly with the VP of Sales for sales team meetings, market visits, customer meetings and industry events, handling logistics, materials and follow-ups.

What You Bring

• 2–4 years of experience in sales operations, revenue operations, business operations, consulting, finance or data analytics
• Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills; experience with Salesforce or another CRM
• Able to build clear, polished presentations and summarize findings concisely
• Highly organized and detail-oriented; comfortable juggling many tasks at once
• Proactive and low-ego: happy to take on whatever the team needs, big or small
• Comfortable with a meeting-heavy schedule, including regular evening meetings with our China-based teams
• Willingness and ability to travel regularly
• Fluency in both English and Mandarin Chinese is required
• Ability to work from the Chowbus Chicago office

Nice to Have

• SQL, Tableau or other BI tools
• Experience in SaaS, POS, payments or restaurant technology

What We Offer

• Competitive compensation package
• Medical, dental, and vision insurance
• 401(k)
• 100% employer-paid Short-Term Disability (STD)
• 100% employer-paid Life Insurance
• 100% employer-paid AD&D Insurance
• Company holidays
• Birthday off
• Paid Parental Leave
• Flexible Paid Time Off (PTO)
• Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
• Monthly Stipend
• Direct exposure to North America leadership and the opportunity to shape Chowbus’ next stage of growth

The salary for this role is $100,000–$150,000 base plus bonus, depending on experience.
