Rate $48 to $50 hr W2 All Inc

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced
Playwright Architect / QA Automation Architect
or
Lead
to lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable test automation frameworks. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on expertise in Playwright, QA Automation, JavaScript/TypeScript, API testing, and CI/CD integration. This role requires a combination of technical architecture, hands-on automation development, and QA leadership to drive end-to-end quality engineering initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, architect, and implement scalable, reusable QA automation frameworks using Playwright.
• Lead UI, API, functional, integration, and end-to-end test automation initiatives.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Define QA automation strategies, standards, coding guidelines, and best practices.
• Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
• Build reusable test components, test data management, and automation reporting solutions.
• Perform regression, smoke, sanity, and cross-browser testing.
• Collaborate with development, product, and QA teams to improve software quality.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve automation failures and testing bottlenecks.
• Drive test coverage, defect management, quality metrics, and continuous improvement.
• Mentor QA Automation Engineers and provide technical guidance.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with
  Playwright and QA Automation
  .
• Expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript and automation framework development.
• Experience designing and building automation frameworks from scratch.
• Strong knowledge of UI, API, functional, regression, and integration testing.
• Experience with REST APIs, JSON, and web application testing.
• Knowledge of Selenium, Cypress, or other automation tools.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
• Experience with Git, debugging, defect tracking, and test reporting.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with performance testing and non-functional testing.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-based testing environments.
• Experience with test management tools such as Jira and Zephyr.
• Experience leading enterprise-level QA automation initiatives.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and technical leadership skills.
