We are looking to expand our team of expert consultants with Election & Political Law Attorneys for part-time, fully remote work supporting frontier AI research. Projects start at $125–200 USD / hour, and the bracket can be flexible depending on the task.
This role includes evaluating and pressure-testing leading AI models on expert-level election and political law knowledge, creating and verifying graduate-level problems and worked solutions, and assessing whether AI-generated reasoning meets the standards of a trained election and political law attorney.

Who We're Looking For
You are a practicing attorney with 5+ years of experience in one or more of the following areas: Federal Campaign Finance, State and Local Campaign Finance, Political Committees and Super PACs, Corporate Political Compliance, Pay-to-Play Rules, Lobbying Disclosure and Foreign Agent Compliance, Government Ethics, Redistricting and Census, Voting Rights and Election Administration, Election Litigation, Ballot Measures and Candidate Qualification, or FEC and Campaign Finance Enforcement.
Ideal backgrounds include
- Partners, counsel, and senior associates in the political law groups of leading law firms
- Attorneys at specialist election and political law firms
- Attorneys at voting rights and democracy organizations
Minimum Qualifications
- Fluent English reading and writing skills
- Based in the United States
- JD and currently practicing
- 5+ years of experience in election and political law or a closely related field
- Deep expertise in at least one of the listed areas
