Senior Business Analyst
MeeBossWe are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to support in Mainframe Transformation Program.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in business analysis, requirements gathering, technical documentation, business process modeling, and system implementation, preferably with hands-on experience in RBDMS (Risk Based Data Management System) and Oil & Gas regulatory systems. Required
- 10+ Business analysis experience on software development projects including: the preparation of project-related documentation.
- Experience with RBDMS (Risk Based Data Management System) Oil & Gas regulatory system.
- 10+ Strong interpersonal, collaborative, analytical, written/verbal/presentation communication skills in English (specifically technical writing); and well versed with MS Office suite of products and prototyping/screen mock-up tools such as Visio, SnagIt, Adobe Illustrator, or Axure.
- 10+ Hands-on requirements elicitation; client management and technical documentation including traceability, use cases, prototyping, and data modeling.
- 10+ Facilitating interactive sessions with business and cross functional teams.
- 10+ Strong analysis experience and expertise in assessing Production Support issues to determine Root Cause and document items needed for data or system correction.
- 10+ Developing/maintaining an understanding of key business drivers/impacts, assisting clients with identifying and solving business
- 10+ Develop/write design documents and diagram business processes
- 10+ Facilitating analysis of business and functional requirements and design of technology specifications, working with business / functional personnel.
- 10+ Participating in and providing guidance to Business and Functional Units in developing and completing user acceptance testing, training, and implementation-related activities.
- 10+ Defining functional design and systems specifications; preparing/reviewing/delivering completed packages.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in mainframe environments, including COBOL and SQL.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Data Warehouse/Data Lake solutions, SSIS, ETL, and Snowflake.
- Experience with process improvement methodologies and business process optimization.
- Background in the Oil & Gas industry, particularly regulatory compliance and enforcement-related projects.
- CBAP, CCBA, or similar business analysis certification.
