We live by our Being 6sense values of Win as One Team, Stay Curious, Do The Right Thing, Own the Outcome, and Create Belonging.  Every 6sensor plays a part in defining the future of our industry-leading technology.  6sense is a place where difference-makers roll up their sleeves, take risks, act with integrity, and measure success by the value we create for our customers.  We want 6sense to be the best chapter of your career.

UX Researcher

6sense builds AI-driven products for B2B marketing and sales teams. Our research team helps decide what we build, and we have built AI research agents so product managers, product designers, and content designers can run more of their own studies. As a UX Researcher II, you will help make that self-serve research trustworthy and help it grow.

You will coach partners, triage requests by the risk of the decision at stake, build safeguards for AI-assisted research, and run focused studies where a researcher adds the most value. You will work in fast sprint cycles with product management, product design, content design, engineering, analytics, and R&D Operations.

Our market and our AI tools move quickly, and many questions arrive before the answers are clear. You will bring clarity to that work: well-framed questions, organized operations, and findings told as clear, honest stories that state plainly what we know, what we do not, and how confident we are.

Above all, we are looking for someone who is humble, adaptable, and teachable, and who never compromises on the truth. Tools, methods, and priorities will keep changing. Respect for evidence will not.

Responsibilities & Accountabilities

• Partners with product managers, designers and engineers to scope and conduct qualitative and quantitative research that deliver actionable insights and product recommendations.
• Designs studies to be as efficient as possible without negatively impacting rigor.
• Creates research reports that are clear, concise, compelling, and actionable.

• Excellent reading, writing, and speaking skills. You absorb dense technical, quantitative, and qualitative information, simplify it without losing accuracy, and tell a clear, compelling story that supports sound decisions. You also push back respectfully and use evidence to help a team align.
• Proven experience collaborating with product managers, designers, and engineers.
• Working knowledge of usability and mixed methods, with a clear approach to data analysis and measurement.
• Experience using AI tools in research, and a critical eye for hallucinations, unsupported claims, and weak reasoning. You verify before you share.
• Demonstrated proficiency in using industry-standard UX research tools, like Great Question, UserTesting, Dovetail, Qualtrics, Pendo.
• Exposure to B2B marketing, sales, or martech products. We will help you learn the domain.

• Collaborative across disciplines and teams and takes a proactive approach to drive positive product outcomes.
• Plays an active role in providing feedback to peers to shape research studies.
• Comfort with ambiguity, and a track record of creating clarity through organized communication, documentation, and operations.
• Comfort with fast sprint cycles, several projects at once, and asynchronous work with a distributed team.
