Chief of Staff

Who We Are

Pindrop is a cybersecurity company delivering continuous identity verification across voice, video, and digital interactions. Powered by the Pindrop Intelligence Network, our unified trust platform helps enterprises answer three critical questions:

Is this identity synthetic? Detect AI-generated and manipulated voice and video.
Is this identity risky? Identify fraud, suspicious behavior, and other risk signals.
Is this identity known? Authenticate identities using voice, device, behavioral, and other signals.

Pindrop brings this intelligence together across purpose-built trust engines to help organizations make informed decisions in real time — protecting customers, workforce interactions, and emerging AI-driven interactions.

Pindrop protects billions of high-risk interactions for enterprises, including leading financial institutions, insurers, and healthcare organizations. Its technology is informed by more than 8 billion real-world interactions annually and protected by 300+ patents.

Recognized by TIME as one of the 10 Most Influential Software Companies of 2026 and by Inc. for Best in Business for Innovation, Pindrop is backed by leading investors including Andreessen Horowitz, IVP, and CapitalG.

The Role

We're hiring a Chief of Staff to sit at the right hand of our CEO during a period of rapid growth. This isn't an administrative role; it's a strategic and operational multiplier. You'll help the CEO and leadership team move faster and think more clearly by managing the flow of information, decisions, and follow-through across the company.

This role increasingly requires genuine AI fluency, not as a "nice to have" tool skill, but as a core way of operating. You'll be expected to use AI to accelerate your own output (synthesis, research, drafting, modeling) and to help the leadership team think through where AI changes the company's operating model, competitive position, and workforce. You don't need to be a machine learning engineer, but you should be someone who is already using AI tools daily to work faster and better, and who can bring that fluency into how the exec team plans and operates.

What you’ll do

Plan

• Own the rhythm of business, the cadence of OKR reviews, ELT syncs, and board prep - so leadership always knows where the business stands and what needs a decision now vs. later.
• Identify key internal issues, market trends, and the data/metrics that matter, feeding the annual planning process (OKRs), quarterly offsites, and weekly leadership meetings
• Help the CEO and ELT track progress against strategic bets and flag risks before they become fires

Execute

• Set agendas, drive discussion, and own notes and action items for CEO and leadership meetings
• Drive cross-functional alignment - Act as the connective tissue across Teams when a decision stalls - diagnosing why, and forcing resolution. Chase down the dependencies and decisions that get stuck when necessary.
• Use AI tools to speed up your own workflow: synthesizing meeting notes into decisions, drafting first-pass communications, building models and dashboards, and researching fast

Advance

• Run special projects, which may include new market or partnership scouting, M&A support, org design, and employee engagement
• Own or co-own select cross-functional initiatives end-to-end, from framing the problem to driving it to a result

Communicate

• Prepare materials for all-hands meetings, board meetings, and investor updates
• Translate dense or technical topics into clear, executive-ready narratives and recommendations
• Serve as a trusted sounding board and occasional proxy voice for the CEO in select forums

What You’ll Gain

This role offers a front-row seat to building and scaling a category-defining company at an inflection point in both Pindrop’s growth and the broader AI landscape. You won’t just observe how a company scales, you’ll be part of making it happen.

• Work alongside a growth-minded Founder & CEO- Partner directly with a founder who is continuing to push the company, the category, and the leadership team toward what’s next. You’ll gain firsthand exposure to the decisions, tradeoffs, and opportunities that come with leading a company through its next stage of growth.

• Learn from a best-in-class Executive Leadership Team- Work across an experienced ELT spanning technology, product, go-to-market, finance, people, and legal, with visibility into how senior leaders make decisions and operate together to drive the business forward.

• Operate inside an AI-first organization- AI isn’t simply something we sell or a tool we expect employees to use. It is changing how we think about our products, our business, and how work gets done. With Innovation as our first core value, you’ll have the opportunity to help shape how an AI-first company operates.

• Get a firsthand view of what it takes to scale- Few roles provide this level of access across strategy, operations, people, customers, investors, and the Board. You’ll see the opportunities and challenges of a growing organization up close—and play a meaningful role in solving them.

• Grow as the company grows- This is an opportunity for someone who ultimately wants to become a broader business leader. You’ll build judgment, pattern recognition, executive presence, and operating experience while helping take Pindrop to its next level.

Who you are

• Resilient in the face of ambiguity, change, and competing priorities
• Optimistic and biased toward turning problems into solutions
• Resourceful- excited to teach yourself something new when the situation calls for it, including new AI tools and workflows
• Accountable- you do what you say you'll do, under-promise and over-deliver
• Nimble and adaptable when priorities shift, while still seeing the forest through the trees
• Curious about how AI is changing the way companies operate, and genuinely energized (not just compliant) about using it in your own work

Your skill-set

• Savvy about how rapid-growth businesses run, and hungry to learn more
• Hands-on: you build world-class dashboards, models, and spreadsheets, and produce sharp, high-quality slides and presentations
• Fluent with AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, or similar) as part of your daily workflow, using them for research synthesis, first drafts, data analysis, and decision prep, not just novelty use cases
• Comfortable evaluating new AI tools and workflows and making a practical judgment call on what's worth adopting versus what's hype
• Strong organizational savvy, paired with humility and approachability
• Able to synthesize executive conversations into clear, actionable plans, and drive those plans to completion
• Able to see both the breadth and depth of a scaling business
• Skilled at closing the loop on high-level executive conversations so nothing falls through the cracks
• Able to take a complex or ambiguous topic and translate it into clear written objectives
• Ambitious, with strong business acumen, and looking to grow toward leadership or general management

Trust, Discretion & Access

Given the nature of our business, and the level of access this role requires, discretion is core to the job.

• You may see information before most of the leadership team does- board materials, compensation and org decisions, M&A and partnership scouting, and sensitive people matters. You handle all of it with the same rigor Pindrop asks of its products: strict confidentiality, careful judgment about who needs to know what and when, and zero tolerance for leaks, even well-intentioned ones
• You know the difference between transparency and oversharing, and you default to the former with the CEO and the latter with everyone else until told otherwise
• You're comfortable holding information in confidence for extended periods, including through org changes, before it's ready to be shared more broadly

Travel & Availability

• Minimum of two weeks to Atlanta HQ per quarter to work in person with the CEO; additional travel as needed for ELT meetings, offsites, and customer visits
• Given the proximity to the CEO, this role requires flexibility outside standard hours -  responsiveness during evenings or weekends when a live issue or fast-moving decision requires it. This isn't a 24/7 expectation, but candidates should self-select based on comfort with the ebb and flow of an always-on executive calendar

Must-Haves

• 3+ years of experience at a top-tier management consulting firm, investment bank, or VC/PE firm
• An additional 3+ years of experience at a hyper-growth tech company
• Demonstrated, hands-on use of AI tools in your day-to-day work (not just familiarity in theory)
• Strong problem identification and problem-solving skills, with excellent communication and executive presence
• Highly organized and analytical, with a data-driven approach to decisions
• Entrepreneurial, and energized by finding opportunities to enable rapid growth in a scaling, category-defining company

Nice to Have

• Prior experience as a Chief of Staff or in a similar strategic operations / business partner role
• Experience managing company-wide goal-setting frameworks (e.g., OKRs)
• Experience helping a leadership team or broader org evaluate, pilot, or roll out new AI tools and workflows
• Exposure to security, fraud, authentication, or voice/AI-detection industries
