Frontend Web Developer (Milan)
eightsleepJoin the Sleep Fitness Movement
At Eight Sleep, we're on a mission to fuel human potential through optimal sleep. As the world's first sleep fitness company, we're redefining what it means to be well-rested and building the most advanced hardware, software, and AI technology to make it possible. Our products power peak mental, physical, and emotional performance by transforming every night of sleep into a personalized, data-driven recovery experience.
Every role at Eight Sleep is a chance to create cutting-edge technology, collaborate with world-class talent, and help shape a future where sleep isn't passive, it's a powerful tool for living better. If you're tired of the ordinary and driven to build at the edge of what's possible, this is your moment.
High Standards. No Apologies.
We operate with intensity because our mission demands it. At Eight Sleep, we bring the same mindset as the world's top performers: focused, relentless, and always pushing to be in the top 1% of our craft. This isn't a 9-to-5. Our team is deeply committed, often putting in the extra effort, not because we're told to, but because we're invested in building something category-defining.
The role
We're hiring a Frontend Web Developer Engineer to help us move fast on eightsleep.com. You'll work closely with the growth, marketing, and design teams to ship landing pages, run a high volume of A/B tests, and keep our analytics and conversion funnels sharp on a high-traffic storefront serving customers around the world.
This is a hands-on, high-velocity role. If you like turning ideas into shipped, measurable experiments, and seeing your work go live within days, you'll feel at home here.
How you’ll contribute
Build marketing pages. Ship landing pages, campaign pages, and partner/influencer pages, translating designs into clean, responsive, accessible components.
Run experiments end-to-end. Design, build, and launch A/B tests; instrument the funnels you need, then read the results and share what you learn. Bring your own test ideas to the table.
Build scalable, templatized systems that make launching new pages efficient and consistent.
Own the analytics stack. Maintain and extend our tracking and advertising integrations, and keep event data accurate and privacy-compliant.
Optimize conversion. Improve every step of the funnel: promos, email capture, CTAs, messaging, and page performance.
Own SEO and accessibility. Keep metadata, sitemaps, structured data, and page speed in great shape, and make sure everything you ship is accessible.
Build for a global audience. Create localized pages and experiments across our supported regions and languages.
What you need to succeed
Strong React and Next.js experience; comfortable across the modern front-end stack and TypeScript.
Experiment-design sense. You can frame a clean hypothesis, think about sample size and significance, and trust a result before acting on it.
5+ years in front-end web development, ideally in growth, marketing, or ecommerce contexts.
Strong attention to detail. You QA your own work and ship things that don't bounce back.
Hands-on with product analytics (Amplitude or similar): funnels, cohorts, and event tracking.
Comfortable with Google Tag Manager and GA4.
Care for web performance (Core Web Vitals) and accessibility.
Awareness of data privacy / consent requirements and how they affect tracking.
AI built into how you work. You use coding assistants and other AI tools to move faster and raise your output.
A bias toward shipping quickly and iterating.
Bonus points for
Experience with SEO/AEO, including structured data.
Internationalization / localization work.
Server-side conversion tracking (CAPI / server-to-server).
Tailwind CSS and design-system component work; Figma-to-code workflows.
Familiarity with a headless CMS and media/asset pipelines.
Experience with media-heavy sites and asset optimization.
How we work
Config-driven and fast. A lot of our growth surface is defined declaratively, so a well-scoped change goes from idea to production in a day, not a sprint. We're experiment-led, we'd rather ship a test and learn than debate. You'll have real ownership over what you build and a direct line to the impact it has.
