Pankaj Agarwal is the Founder & CEO of TagHive, a company funded by Samsung that operates in South Korea and India. TagHive is an AI-first ed-tech company that transforms classrooms from boring to scoring. With a team of over 60 folks, we are on a mission to improve learning outcomes for every child by making learning more fun, starting with classrooms. The primary business pain that TagHive addresses is the inefficiency and lack of personalization in the current education system. Teachers are often overwhelmed with administrative tasks, leaving them with less time to focus on personalized instruction. Students, on the other hand, do not receive the individualized attention they need to thrive, leading to disengagement and underperformance. The learning platform (Class Saathi) stands out in the competitive edtech landscape, which includes players like Kahoot and Quizizz. Unlike competitors, Class Saathi integrates seamlessly with existing learning management systems across multiple devices and works even without internet connectivity, ensuring scalable, affordable, and uninterrupted learning for diverse educational environments. With over 75 international patents to his name, Pankaj is an accomplished innovator who has been recognized for his contributions to the field of technology. He has been named one of India's Top 10 Innovators by MIT Technology Review and Mint, and recognized on Fortune's 40 Under 40 list. Prior to founding TagHive, Pankaj spent a decade at Samsung Electronics in various roles, including hardware circuit engineer, strategic innovation manager, and advisor to the CTO. In addition to his work at TagHive, he is the Founder and Chairman of the IIT Alumni Association of South Korea and a board member at the Indian Chamber of Commerce in South Korea. He is fluent in Korean and a trained magician. Pankaj's educational background includes a Bachelor of Technology degree in EE from IIT Kanpur, an MS from Seoul National University, and an MBA from the Harvard Business School.
